Based at London Luton Airport, British airline carrier EasyJet, was founded in 1995. Europe’s second-largest low-cost carrier (behind Ryanair) is flying from Belgrade from April 2013.

EasyJet is the largest airline of the United Kingdom, measured by number of passengers carried.

It has 23 bases across Europe and employs over 8,000 people including 2,000 pilots and more then 4,500 cabin crew.

EasyJet prefers to fly to larger or primary airports usually close to major cities. As the other low-cost companies, food and beverage do not come with a ticket, but can be purchased during the flight.

The company, however, offers its customers a unique service Missed Flight Cover, as insurance for the missed flights. For about €10, EasyJet’s travellers that miss their flights for up to 4 hours, will be placed at the first available flight or refunded in total.

EasyJet fleet consists of mainly Airbus aircrafts. The company flies with 138 Airbus A319-100 and 57 Airbus A320-200 aircrafts. The airline’s fleet carries up to 156 and 180 passenger and cabins are configured in a single class, high density layout.

EasyJet is operating on over 600 routes to 134 destinations across more than 30 countries, including Morocco, Egypt, Israel and Russia.
